Ballestas Islands Tour
Today a morning small group tour of the nearby Ballestas Islands, known as Peru’s “Little Galapagos” because of the wealth of wildlife spotting opportunities.
The trip leaves from the Hotel’s private Dock, pictured right at 08:00 and is approx 2 Hours.
“This trip of discovery aboard a private boat, pictured right, takes you to the famed Ballestas Islands where you will enjoy the sights and sounds of such fascinating Peruvian coastal wildlife as sea lions (tourist-friendly), Humboldt penguins, and an endless number of migratory birds.
Along the way, there will be ample opportunity to marvel at the Candelabro, a mysterious and huge geoglyph that stands watch over the Ica coastline, and to listen to the islands’ history, as recounted by our knowledgeable guides.”
