We visit the Historical Center of Lima, where you will appreciate more than fifty monuments and Colonial edifications, such as the Paseo de la República, the San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Council Palace amongst others.
 
We will visit the Museum of the Banco Central de Reserva (closed Saturday, Sunday & Monday), where we will admire the “Treasures of Perú” collection, a fine selection of objects made of gold, ceramics and textiles from different pre-columbian cultures
.
We will visit the monumental San Francisco Convent which displays the largest collection of religious art in America.  Our highlight will be the visit of the underground vaults, known as “Catacumbas” or Catacombs.

Today we will introduce you to the history of Peruvian gastronomy.  Our culinary adventure begins at a typical Peruvian Market‖. There, you will be able to appreciate a wide variety of Peruvian product and enjoy and taste exotic fruits. Be amazed by the huge variety of fish and seafood our ocean, considered one of the richest in the World, has to offer.

We will also visit an exclusive restaurant ―La Rosa Nautica, where you will have the opportunity to prepare your own Pisco Sour the Peruvian National Drink and Cerviche the Peruvian National Dish. Later you will enjoy a delicious lunch, consisting of the most symbolic dishes of Peruvian cuisine.

Considered a must see Museum by all travel editors and specialists and undoubtedly one of the top museums in Latin America. Located in an 18th century vice-royal mansion built over a VIIth century pre-columbian pyramid Museo Larco is surrounded by beautiful gardens.  The museums’ new galleries exhibit the finest and most comprehensive Peruvian pre-Columbian gold and silver collection in the world; as well as the renowned Erotic Pottery Collection.

The temple of Pachacamac is an archaeological site 40 km southeast of Lima, Peru in the Valley of the Lurín River. Most of the common buildings and temples were built c. 800-1450 CE, shortly before the arrival and conquest by the Inca Empire.

To date, several pyramids have been uncovered; archaeologists have identified at least 17 pyramids (many of them irreversibly damaged by the El Niño weather phenomenon). Besides pyramids, the site had a cemetery and multicolored fresco of fish from the Early Intermediate period (c. 200-600 CE). Later, the Huari (c. 600-800 CE) constructed the city, probably using it as an administrative center. A number of Huari-influenced designs appear on the structures and on the ceramics and textiles found in the cemeteries of this period. After the collapse of the Huari empire, Pachacamac continued to grow as a religious center. The majority of the common architecture and temples were built during this stage (c. 800-1450 CE).
