We start the day with a visit to the Bodega Catador, an Artisanal Wine and Pisco Winery and Distiller
El Catador it’s a small Family Winery and Distillery with 154 years of history, where you can visit and taste different kind of wines and Pisco for free. It is just the place where you can learn more about Peruvian Pisco and wine and the ideal place for people that like to enjoy tasting great wine and pisco with friends and family.
The tasting room is wonderful and it is located in an underground cave where you can see a big tavern with older oak barrels, big screen TV with a lot of Videos about the wine and Pisco Process.
Harvest time is in February, March and April. At this time the grapes are ready to be processed so it is the best time of the year if you want to see how the Pisco is made. Visiting the winery you will have the opportunity to tread the grapes. This is a lovely, romantic place and never to be forgotten.
Ask for Pisco Citron with Honey is the only place in PERU they make this Pisco. Perfect Love El Catador is also very sweet and very special to drink.
