A Machu Picchu Vacation that combines a First Class Amazon Jungle experience with the Inca & Colonial highlights in and around Cusco & Machu Picchu in just 7 or 8 Days.  

 

Visit the highlights of Cusco & the Sacred Valley of the Inca.  Visit Machu Picchu one of the Seven Wonders of the World for one or two days.  Take a 90 minute flight to Puerto Maldonado and then a motorized canoe to the Hacienda Concepcion Jungle Lodge.  All meals and tours are included in the Jungle.

 

Enhancements

This itinerary has been put together to see as much as possible in the shortest possible time.  Enhancements would include adding a day in Lima whilst staying at the 4* Casa Andina Private Collection Hotel Lima.  For those interested in archaeology and Pre-Inca Civilizations adding a visit to Caral the oldest City in the Americas (both North & South America @ 3,000 years BC) which can be visited in a day from Lima, should also be seriously considered.  Please contact us for more details and a personalized Itinerary.

 

The Amazon Jungle Itinerary is great for the general visitor.  There are special departures for naturalist enthusiasts and bird watchers etc.  Another great idea is to add a day in the Jungle, making this a 4 Day / 3 Night experience.  Please contact us for dates and pricing on all these options and what may work best for you.

 

 

Day 1 - Arrive Lima - Most flights arrive to Lima Airport between 22:00 and Midnight.  In this case there is little purpose in a one hour transfer to a Hotel in Lima just to turn around at 07:00 the following morning and return to Lima Airport.  Better to stay at the Lima Airport Hotel and get a good nights sleep before your 10:00 flights tomorrow.
