A Machu Picchu Vacation that combines a Luxury Amazon Jungle experience with the Inca & Colonial highlights in and around Cusco & Machu Picchu.

 

Initially you will visit Lima where you have a choice of excellent tours. Take a flight to Puerto Maldonado and then a motorized canoe to the Inkaterra Reserva Amazon Jungle Lodge.  All meals and tours are included in the Jungle.  Visit the highlights of Cusco & the Sacred Valley of the Inca. Round off the vacation at Machu Picchu one of the Seven Wonders of the World for one or two days.

 

 

 

Enhancements

This itinerary has been put together to see as much as possible in the shortest possible time.  Enhancements would include, for those interested in archaeology and Pre-Inca Civilizations, adding a visit to Caral the oldest City in the Americas (both North & South America @ 3,000 years BC) which can be visited in a day from Lima, should also be seriously considered.  Please contact us for more details and a personalized Itinerary.

 

The Amazon Jungle Itinerary is great for the general visitor however one great idea is to add a day in the Jungle, making this a 4 Day / 3 Night Amazon Jungle experience.  There are also special departures for Amateur (or Professional) Naturalists and special Bird Watching Departures,  Please contact us for dates and pricing on all these options and which may work best for you.
