You will enjoy Lima, visit the Tombs of Sipan, the Colonial city of Trujillo, the Moche Pyramids, and Chan Chan.  We will also explore the Colonial & Inca highlights throughout Cusco and the Sacred Valley of the Inca and visit typical markets which are excellent places to shop for traditional hand-made souvenirs.  You then spend one or two days visiting one of the Seven Wondors of the World,  Machu Picchu.  You round off the Vacation by visiting Lake Titicaca the highest navigable Lake in the World and home to the Uros people who live on floating reed islands in the middle of the Lake. 

 

 

 

Enhancements to consider:

 

For those interested in archaeology and Pre-Inca Civilizations adding a visit to Caral the oldest City in the Americas (both North & South America @ 3,000 years BC) which can be visited in a day from Lima, should also be seriousy considered.  

 

Finally there is a fair amount of travelling in the first few days of this Itinerary, you may wish to consider adding a free day (or two) in Cusco just to relax and catch up with yourselves.  After all this is intended to be an enjoyable vacation and not a route march around Peru!
