For those interested in archaeology and Pre-Inca Civilizations adding a visit to Caral the oldest City in the Americas (both North & South America @ 3,000 years BC) which can be visited in a day from Lima, should also be seriousy considered.  There is also a goodly amount of traveling in this Itinerary so adding a free day in Cusco may also be a good idea to break things up a bit.

 

As standard we include the First Class Tourist Bus between Lake Titicaca & Cusco which visits several places of interest on route.  Alternatives include the Luxury Andean Explorer Train but this adds some $200pp (price varies by season please ask for details), or a 1 Hour flight.
