You will enjoy an overflight of the Nasca Lines, visit the Tombs of Sipan, the Colonial city of Trujillo, the Moche Pyramids, and Chan Chan.  We will also explore the Colonial & Inca highlights throughout Cusco and the Sacred Valley of the Inca and visit typical markets which are excellent places to shop for traditional hand-made souvenirs.  We round off the Vacation with a one or two day visit to one of the Seven Wondors of the World,  Machu Picchu.  

 

 

 

Enhancements to consider:

 

For those interested in archaeology and Pre-Inca Civilizations adding a visit to Caral the oldest City in the Americas (both North & South America @ 3,000 years BC) which can be visited in a day from Lima, should also be seriousy considered.  

 

A further popular enhancement to this itinerary would be to add a day on the coast at Paracas for the Nasca Lines overflight.  On the morning of Day 3 you would leave Lima for the Nasca Lines overflight.  After the flight, rather than returning to Lima that same day you would overnight at the fabulous 5* Libertador Paracas Hotel.  From here the most popular tours (on the morning of a new Day 4 are the Ballestas Islands and a tour of the Paracas Nature Reserve.  Then in the afternoon a Private transfer back to Lima.  From here the vacation continues as before.
